What precautions are you taking to prevent the spread of COVID-19?

The health and safety of you and your families is my top priority. If you or anyone coming to your session have had any COVID-19 related symptoms 14 day prior to your session, or has tested positive for COVID-19, please reach out to reschedule your session. Currently there is no fee to reschedule for any COVID-19 related reason. In addition, I’m taking the following precautions:

  • All sessions are taking place outdoors.

  • I will be wearing a mask for the duration of your session.

  • I will be shooting from a minimum of 6 feet away.

  • I will be disinfecting my gear before and after each session.

How do I reserve you for my chosen date and time?

All dates and times are reserved when I receive your signed contract and booking fee. Your date will not be held until you have made your initial payment and signed your contract. In the even another client is inquiring about your preferred date before you have paid your deposit and signed your contract, you will be given 24 hour notice to complete the deposit payment and contract signature before the date is offered to the next client in line.

How do I pay?

After your consultation phone call which you can schedule here, I will send you an invoice for the cost of your session. Your booking fee (which is 50% of the total pre-tax cost of your session) is due immediately to reserve your selected time and date. The remaining balance is due 24 hours before your session begins.

What should I wear?

The section of your clothing should reflect your personal style. As a general rule dark clothing tends to slenderize, while light clothing looks crisp and fresh. While my editing style translates well to shades of pink, green, and blue, I recommend avoiding overly bright colors; especially neon colors. I also recommend keeping patterns to a minimum. If you have any accessories you wear regularly or consider to be special such as a watch, ring, necklace, etc., I encourage you to consider including them as you plan your outfits.

For couples and family sessions I recommend keeping your clothing simple and coordinating with each other to help provide a cohesive look amongst your group.

The number of outfits you bring should be based on which session you purchase.

Do you touch up all the images you deliver?

Yes I do. Every image I deliver is edited and retouched with my unique signature style of post-production. This involves color correction, selective black and white processing, removal of distractions, and other corrections.

In addition I provide basic image retouching free with all of my photo packages, and premium retouching with professional headshots.  Basic retouching is the removal of blemishes and the removal of distracting background objects. Premium retouching includes removal of blemishes, removal of bags under eyes, removal of fly-away hairs, etc.

If you are interested in purchasing premium retouching as part of your photo package, premium retouching is available for an additional $2 per delivered photo, and must be purchased in advance or within 24 hours of the completion of your session.

How do you deliver my images?

You will receive your photos via an online gallery on my website, as well as via a digital download link. Your online gallery will be available for 2 months after the date of your session.

When will I get my images?

You will receive an email when your online gallery and digital download link are available. My delivery time frame varies based on my availability. For portrait and headshot sessions, I guarantee delivery within 30 days of your session, with expedited delivery available for a small fee.

What rights do I have to the digital files?

You have the right to reprint images, and post them on any of your social media accounts. You may not alter your images (including filters), sell your images for a profit, or publish your images, or use your images in marketing collateral, without the written consent of Zoe Gregory Photography.

What if I lose my images?

There is a $75 replacement fee for additional downloads after the online gallery has been archived. I highly suggest you make at least a backup copy of the download when you receive it.

Do you deliver every image you shoot?

No, I do not. All of my photo packages come with a preset number of images included, but you are always welcome to purchase as many photos as you love! After your session I eliminate test shots and shots with unflattering expressions. I will upload all of your photos to an online gallery for you to select which photos you would like to have edited, and you can choose any additional photos you would like to purchase at this time.

If we’re running late, will you stay later than you were scheduled?

Of course! I do have an overtime rate, and it only goes into effect with your permission and approval that I continue your session. You will be billed for those hours within 24 hours of your session, and the balance will be due before your images are delivered.

My session is only a few days away and the weather is looking questionable, can I reschedule?

What a bummer! In the case of inclement weather, I do offer the option of waiving the rescheduling fee. However, this is a discussion I have with my clients on a case my case basis (so I encourage you to text or email me if you are getting worried).

In the case of expected rain, I will almost always advise we reschedule (the only exception being if my clients specifically would prefer to take photos in the rain). If this is the case I will happily proceed with the shoot, so long as the forecast calls for showers and not thunderstorms. For your safety and mine, I will have to postpone all shoots where lightning is present within 12 miles.

If the forecast calls for overcast or partially cloudy skies, I highly encourage you to consider keeping your appointment. Cloudy skies offer some of the most beautifully lit portraits, and are is favorite weather for capturing the style of photography I showcase in my portfolio.
